Colorado River Full Day Trips

The experience begins in Estes Park early in the morning with a drive over scenic Trail Ridge Road through beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous paved road in the United States. We'll take you up to 12,183 feet for spectacular views and cross the continental divide to the western slope.

Where else can you see SNOW and go rafting in the same day?

We raft a 12 mile stretch of scenic float water, encounter some Class II and Class III rapids like Needles Eye and Yarmony, float by a natural hot springs, as well as some 100+ year old miner cabins. We are on the water 4-5 hours and stop for a picnic lunch. A riverside deli-style buffet and beverages are provided.

If you have the time, those who do both of our trips prefer the Full Day Trip.
These trips run early June through Labor Day weekend.

Price

Cache La Poudre River

Morning, Mid-Day and Afternoon Half Day Trips
Did you say "rapids"??? We offer two half-day trips on the Poudre River each day, and a third on weekdays.

Trips depart from the Estes Park High School at 9:15am and 12:15pm daily. We also have a 6:30am trip Monday through Friday. (Okay, I heard you GASP when you read that time. Before you dismiss this trip as too early, this trip is smaller and we're often the only company on the water then. The river is all ours - it's incredible!)

Call 800-367-8523 or 970-577-RAFT for reservations as space is strictly limited on all half day trips. The U.S. Forest Service regulates the number of rafters per trip. During peak season we run at capacity and will turn people away, so reservations are strongly encouraged. Payment is required in advance for all trips so we know how many boats and guides we'll need.

These trips run from around May 20th through August.

Price
$55 per person - includes transportation from Estes Park to the river
